Class Description
Discover the basics of sewing and stitching in this adult-only studio class led by Michele Beus. This five-session program meets Saturdays from 2:00–3:30 p.m., September 5 through October 10. Registration covers five sessions, with the final class offered as a bonus or make-up opportunity. Enrollment is limited to six students, allowing for plenty of individual guidance. Participants will learn how to use a sewing machine, practice a variety of hand stitches, and complete one or two projects during each session. Each five-session program can be enjoyed on its own or taken consecutively. Projects and techniques vary between sessions, giving returning students plenty of new skills and creative challenges to explore. Classes take place on the second floor. While there is no elevator, teacher assistance is available for anyone who has difficulty climbing the stairs.
