The Clay Classroom

Jump Into Art Studios offers a comprehensive, multi-week ceramics program that covers everything from throwing and trimming to hand-building and crafting handles. The course also provides step-by-step instruction on using underglazes and glazes, working with overglazes, and developing your own unique color palette.

Students typically finish 7 to 10 pieces during the program. All skill levels are welcome—no prior experience needed. Class sizes are kept small, with a maximum of 10 students. All tools and your first bag of clay are provided; just bring a personal lap towel to store on your shelf from the first day.

The Clay Classroom offers classes for various age groups (“Kids” refers to ages 8–18, while “ages 10–adult” indicates a mixed-age group). For a more extended ceramics experience, check out our ongoing weekly classes, available for mature teens and adults only.
