Class Description

Kids 5 Week Sewing & Stitching Class with Michele Thursdays | 4:30–6pm | October 22 - November 19 Kids ages 7–18 can discover the fun of sewing through hands-on projects using their own simple sewing machines. Michele will introduce students to both machine sewing and hand stitching, helping everyone build skills and confidence at their own pace. Each session includes several creative projects, along with weekly practice using both hand and machine sewing techniques. Projects may include: felt and button creations, sit-upons, pin cushions, button jars, hankie pouches, embroidery hoops, decorative pillows, plushies, lunch bags, sequin embroidery, heart purses, buttonholes, and more. All supplies are included. Classes take place on the second floor. There is no elevator, but teacher assistance is available for students who have difficulty using the stairs.
