Class Description
5 Week Homeschool Sewing and Stitching on Tuesdays with Michele 2-3:30pm Tuesdays October 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10 This fun, hands-on homeschool sewing class is designed for students ages 7–18. Students will learn both hand stitching and machine sewing while creating several projects on a simple, easy-to-use sewing machine. All supplies are included. Students will practice hand and machine sewing each week and may create projects such as felt-and-button designs, sit-upon strips, pin cushions or button jars, handkerchief pouches, embroidery hoop projects, up-cycled pillows, plushies, lunch bags, sequin embroidery, and heart purses with buttonholes. Classes are held on the second floor. The studio does not have an elevator, but teacher assistance is available for students who need help climbing the stairs.
