Class Description

Build your sewing skills in this small-group adult class with Michele Beus. Meeting Saturdays from 4:00–5:30 p.m., September 5 through October 10, the program provides 90 minutes of hands-on instruction each week. Tuition covers five sessions, and the final class can be used as a complimentary bonus or make-up session. With enrollment capped at six students, participants receive plenty of guidance while learning sewing machine basics and a range of hand-stitching techniques. Each session includes opportunities to put those new skills into practice, with students typically completing one or two projects. Sign up for a single five-session program or continue with additional sessions. Michele offers enough variety in projects and techniques to keep the experience fresh for returning students. Classes are held on the second floor. An elevator is not available, but teacher assistance can be provided for anyone who needs help navigating the stairs.
