Around the World Traveler Art Camp, ages 6-15 July 27 - 31 10am - 3pm with early and later options This camp is an all time favorite program because we start with a hand created multimedia passport that gains entry stamps for each county. We've got loads of interesting and amazing art projects from around the world and include: Aboriginal Art Portraits, Egyptian hieroglyphics and 3D cartouches, Postcard art, Indian mandalas, Panama felt mola, African metal art and weaving, Mexican paper arts, Mt Fuji dot painting, Kabuki Masks plus tiny monsters, Godzilla plushie, foldable cities and a few more fabulous things! Plus our campers favorites: session in the pottery studio, custom soaps or bath fizzes or mists, daily visiting artists and end of week ice cream party (eating out of campers hand-thrown ceramic bowls!) We like to split up siblings but if you have a friend coming to camp, note it in the notes sections. Our professional artist educators work in small classrooms with hands on and loving attention to all. Jump into Art Studios is dedicated to the artist in everyone - children thrive in our camps when a willingness for creativity is present. -Enrolling your child acknowledges your child works comfortably with other children and additional support will be supplied by you if necessary. -Please arrive within 5 minutes of 10am to sign in your camper (unless you are coming to paid early care). Hanging out in the garden is a great chance to visit with your camper. -Leave electronic devices, including phones at home (and no games/toys as its distracting to other campers) -Send a large lunch with refillable water bottle but leave backpacks at home PARENTS: Each week we include our studio's GRATITUDE PROJECT that helps everyone be a friend to everyone else - we really need empty water bottles sent in to make this work. Consider sending extras for families that do have empty water bottles. THANKS!
