Class Description

Make Winter Break a creative one! Winter Holiday Camp runs Monday–Thursday, December 21–24, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. for ages 6–15, with early and late care available. Our small-group classrooms give creative kids plenty of opportunities to make, build, bake, experiment, and have fun together. Along the way, we incorporate heart-centered learning focused on kindness and compassion while encouraging every camper to discover their own artistic interests. Projects vary, but past camps have included: Weaving and stitching projects Holiday cookie, bread, and house making and decorating Clay and ceramic creations* Mini mosaics T-shirt painting Printmaking Friendship bracelets Tiny artwork created inside tiny tins Pinecone art and nature collages Art journals Leaf rubbings Cozy hot cocoa on the front porch Games, creative play, and making new friends *Ceramic projects will be glazed and fired after camp and available for pickup at a later date. Jump into Art Studios is all about giving kids space to explore their creativity. Campers should be comfortable participating with other children and ready to enjoy a group environment. If your child needs individual assistance, please provide a dedicated helper. Please arrive within 5 minutes of the 10 a.m. start time unless registered for early care. Families are welcome to spend a few minutes together in the garden before camp. Pack a hearty lunch and refillable water bottle, but leave backpacks, phones, electronics, games, and toys at home. GRATITUDE BOTTLE PROJECT: Please send an empty 9–16 oz. water bottle. Early Care begins at 9 a.m. for an additional $40. Late Care extends pickup until 4 p.m. for $40. Both options can be selected at checkout.
