Watercolors Made Easy: Foundation course ***Held in the upstairs Madison Studio*** Tuesdays, September 15 - October 6 10:30 a.m - 12:30 pm Spend four weeks exploring watercolor with Madhu in a relaxed, encouraging environment. This immersive class is all about slowing down, trying new techniques, and finding joy in the process without worrying about perfection. Come ready to experiment, play with watercolor, and let your creativity flow. In this class, you’ll learn: A clear, beginner-friendly introduction to watercolor supplies — what to use and why Fundamental watercolor techniques: Flat wash, Graded wash, Variegated wash, Wet-on-wet, Wet-on-dry Understanding Values and paint consistencies Creating fun Textures using household supplies Exploring brush strokes Partnering with water instead of trying to control it Guided projects using these techniques to help you explore freely Create for the joy of the process and cultivate a playful, relaxed mindset and let go of perfectionism This class is about more than just painting — it’s about letting go of control, being present, and reconnecting with yourself through creativity.
