Paint your Cat Watercolor Class with Kara Power Choose your date and time Saturday May 16 or June 13: 9:30-12:30 or 1:30-4:30 Capture your pet’s personality in watercolor in this fun and supportive Watercolor Pet Portrait Class! Designed for beginners through experienced artists, this class will guide you step-by-step through the process of turning a favorite pet photo into a beautiful painted portrait. Students will learn essential watercolor techniques including sketch transfer, layering washes, color mixing, brush control, and adding texture for fur and facial details. Instruction will be personalized so beginners feel confident while more experienced artists can refine their skills. Students work on Arches Cold-Pressed 140lb watercolor paper with 16 color watercolor palette supplied, feel free to bring a personal set. Participants should bring one printed photo of their pet to use as a reference. For best results, choose a clear, crisp, close-up image where the pet’s face is easy to see. Photos should be 8.5 x 11 inches preferred, and no smaller than 8 x 6 inches. Whether you're painting for fun, as a gift, or to honor a beloved pet, this workshop offers a relaxed environment where creativity and learning come together. All materials included but bring an image of your pet.
