Class Description

The Goblet Wheel: Pottery Throwing Class with Stephenie Anderson Sundays 5-7pm November 23rd December 14th January 18th February 8th and 15th Come and play on our pottery wheels with artist Stephenie Anderson helping along the way. First; throw 3-4 small bowls (the goblet) and 3-4 bases (the stems) and Stephenie will attach once leather hard. Choose your glazing colors and in 3-4 weeks pick up your one-of-a-kind goblets ready to use! This single pottery wheel class is perfect for beginners, novices, or intermediate throwers - and feel free to bring your friends for an extra fun time. Fine details: - Students create all the work but Stephenie is on hand to lead, guide and assist along the way. - Studio finishes your work with the glaze of your choice - Pick up 3-4 weeks later (we will call, text and email to advise pickup) - Wear comfortable clothes, clay washes out of everything - All materials provided - Long hair should be tied back and extra long nails should be trimmed - We're serving wine and snacks - All attendees need a ticket to attend - Choose your date carefully as we cannot move or alter your date (no refunds offered but feel free to gift your session to a friend if you cannot attend) - Pottery left more than 30 days will be donated to Empty Bowls McKinney - Class is 2 hours but expect 90 minutes of wheel time, 5-10 minutes of set up and 20 minutes of clean up at the end. Adults only but mature teens (must be 15) may attend with their parent.
