Class Description

Single Pottery Wheel Lesson - All Ages (recommended ages 7 and up) A 2-hour single pottery wheel class for all ages - work with Emily to make stuff! Ready to try the pottery wheel? Enjoy step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice in this single class—perfect for beginners and intermediates. Kids and adults welcome; class size limited to 10 students. Studio finished your artworks with firing and glazing and packing up for easy pick up 2-3 weeks later. Fine Details - Students create 4 items (and keep your best 3) - Studio glazes your piece in your chosen color - Ready for pickup in 2–3 weeks (we’ll call or text) - Wear comfortable clothes—clay washes out - All materials provided - Please tie back long hair and trim extra-long nails - Kids ages 8 and up are welcome and need a parent supervising, kids over 13 may be dropped off - Every attendee must have a ticket to work on the wheel, parent helpers do not need a ticket and will not work on a wheel - Pottery left over 30 days will be donated to Empty Bowls McKinney. - Each class is 2 hours: includes 90 minutes on the wheel, plus time for setup and cleanup.
