Class Description

Single Pottery Wheel Lesson - All Ages (recommended ages 7 and up) A 2-hour single pottery wheel class for all ages - work with Emily to make stuff! Ready to try the pottery wheel? Enjoy step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice in this single class—perfect for beginners and intermediates. Kids and adults welcome; class size limited to 10 students. Studio finished your artworks with firing and glazing and packing up for easy pick up 2-3 weeks later. Fine Details - Make 4 items and choose your favorite 3 to keep - Studio will glaze your pieces in the color you select - Finished pottery will be ready in 2–3 weeks (we’ll call or text) - Dress comfortably—clay is washable - All supplies and materials are included - Long hair should be tied back, and extra-long nails should be trimmed - Kids 8+ are welcome with parent supervision; ages 13+ may attend without a parent - A ticket is required for everyone using a pottery wheel; supervising parents do not need a ticket and will not use a wheel - Pottery not collected within 30 days will be donated to Empty Bowls McKinney - Classes run for 2 hours, including 90 minutes at the wheel plus setup and cleanup time Jump Into Art Studios also offers SIP and THROW for adults!
