Sewing/Stitching for Adults * 5 weeks in the studio with Michele Beus 90 minutes each Saturday March 14 - April 11 2 - 3:30pm LIMITED TO 6 STUDENTS Learn beginning sewing on a machine and hand stitching! Geared toward adult only students wanting to learn to sew using a machine, various hand stitches and everyone completes 1-2 projects per session. Each 5 session may be taken as a single program or in a row with enough variety to keep you interested. Class will begin by learning what should be included in everyone's sewing basket; working on the sewing machine with all the steps to continue on their own. Additionally, everyone will learn basic hand stitches including the running, basting, whip, and blind hem stitches. Each 5 week program will build skills and know-how to work at home. Students may take each 5 week by itself or for the entire semester. *Classes occur on the second floor and while we do not have an elevator, teacher assistance is available if you have trouble climbing stairs.
