6 Week Saturday Kids Art Class with Miss Michele* September 5 - October 10 12:30 - 1:30pm Ages 6 -12 September 5 Color Mixing September 12 KANDINSKY Tree Collage September 19 PUFFINS Realistic Animals September 26 CUBIST FACES October 3 Cubism October 10 Hot Air Balloons Get creative with Miss Michele in this engaging art class built around small groups, encouraging instruction, and exciting hands-on projects. Students will explore sketching, drawing, painting, and other artistic techniques while developing their skills and confidence. The curriculum also includes studies of Modern Masters, introducing students to artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, O’Keeffe, Kahlo, Matisse, Cezanne, Dali, and more. Students can draw inspiration from these influential artists while experimenting with their own ideas and creative styles. This six-week class is part of a year-long art series. Students may enroll in this session on its own or continue with future sessions for a more extensive art experience. Classes take place on the second floor. While there is no elevator, teacher assistance is available for anyone who may need help using the stairs.
