Class Description
Weekly Pottery Wheel and Clay Class with Emily Adult Only - All level Wednesday 10 am - 1pm $166/month Join Emily Scott with beginning - advanced throwing techniques for adults and mature teens. Weekly demonstrations include sets, plates, handles and lids plus throwing big vessels. Raku and alternative firing offered as well. Students bring personal tools including calipers to store on personal shelves - clay may be purchased $19-21 25lb bag. New students who don’t have clay tools will need a starter kit, available for $20 before class or at the studio. After working with an instructor for 3 months, missed class time may be made up during weekly Open Studio. Please note that Open Studio does not include instruction. Fine Print: Classes are offered year-round, with breaks for major holidays. Makeup time for holiday closures will be honored. A minimum 3-month class commitment is required. To cancel, please email or text your instructor. For your first class, wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel. You’re welcome to keep your personal towel on your designated studio shelf.
Cancellation Policy
Missed classes or time may be made up during weekly Open Studio after 3 months working with instructor. Open Studio offers NO INSTRUCTION. FINE PRINT: Classes run year round and we take major holidays off, make up time will be honored. Class commitment is minimum 3 months (to cancel a class send email or text to your instructor) No refunds on classes, semesters, camps, workshops, events or kits without 30 days notice. If you cannot attend an event consider assigning your space to another individual. Withdrawal from a semester long class after the first week incurs semester long fees.
