Class Description
Pottery Wheel & Clay Camp July 15-17 Wednesday through Friday 4-6pm, ages 8-18 Learn from a professional potter and educator; work on the wheel making hand thrown stoneware cups, plates, bowls plus work on hand building special sculptures, too. Work in a professional pottery studio and learn about throwing, trimming, underglazes, texturing, scrafitto and more. All items will be fired, glazed and fired again and ready for pick up 3 weeks later, packed and ready for you on our front porch! Expect to make about 8 items in the camp. *we recommend ages 8 and up because throwing on the wheel requires upper body strength and younger kids may find it frustrating. A child as young as 7 may attend if a family member joins the class also and assists as necessary.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds on classes, semesters, camps, workshops, events or kits. If you cannot attend an event consider assigning your space to another individual.
