New Year's Holiday Camp Monday - Thursday December 28 - 31st 10am - 3pm with early and later care options Ages 6 - 15 Do you have a creative and crafty child needing some hands on engagement for Winter break? We'll keep them interested with a variety of cool art projects like making, building and baking! Plus we practice loving-kindness and compassion with heart centered learning and teaching in small classrooms dedicated to the artist in all of us. Sample projects that we've done in the past: -clay and ceramic creations (to be picked up at a later time after glazing and firing) -baking yummy breads or muffins and enjoying with a cozy cup of cocoa on the front porch -weaving and stitching -printmaking and multimedia art -winter themed projects -pinecone art -nature collage -tshirt painting -creating tiny art inside tiny tins -friendship jewelry -art journals -tiny art and big art -recycle art using bits of this and that -making friends and playing games! Jump into Art Studios believes in nurturing creativity in everyone—children flourish in our camps when they come ready to create. Fine Print: -Enrolling your child acknowledges your child works comfortably with other children and additional support will be supplied by you if necessary. -Please arrive within 5 minutes of 10am to check in your camper (unless you’ve registered for early care). Enjoy some time in the garden with your camper before the day begins. -Please keep all electronic devices, including phones, at home. We also ask that no games or toys be brought, as they can distract other campers. -Pack a hearty lunch and a refillable water bottle for your camper, but please leave backpacks at home.
