New Year's Holiday Camp Dec 28-31st

Class Description

Ring in the New Year with creativity! New Year's Holiday Camp runs Monday–Thursday, December 28–31, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. for ages 6–15, with early and late care available. Our small-group classrooms give kids a welcoming place to create, build, bake, experiment, and spend Winter Break making something special. Camp also incorporates heart-centered learning that encourages kindness, compassion, and positive connections with others. Projects vary, but past camps have included: * Winter-themed art projects * Weaving and stitching * Clay and ceramic creations* * Baking breads or muffins and enjoying cocoa on the front porch * Printmaking and multimedia art * Friendship jewelry * Pinecone art and nature collages * T-shirt painting * Tiny artwork created inside tins * Art journals * Tiny art and BIG art * Recycled art made from assorted odds and ends * Games, creative activities, and making new friends *Ceramic creations will be glazed and fired after camp and available for pickup at a later date. At Jump into Art Studios, we want every camper to have the opportunity to explore their creativity. Children should be comfortable participating in a group classroom environment. If your child requires individual assistance, please provide a dedicated helper. Please arrive within 5 minutes of the 10 a.m. start time unless registered for early care. You’re welcome to enjoy a little time together in the garden before camp begins. Campers should bring a hearty lunch and refillable water bottle. Please leave backpacks, phones, electronics, toys, and games at home. GRATITUDE BOTTLE PROJECT: Please send an empty 9–16 oz. water bottle. Early Care begins at 9 a.m. for an additional $40. Late Care extends pickup until 4 p.m. for $40. Both options can be selected at checkout.
