Thursdays 5 Week Sewing & Stitching Class for Kids October 16 - November 13 Choose times below and $134 pays for all class meetings Ages 7-18 All supplies included Starts September 11th - if starting after session begins, confirm with studio for available space before signing up Sewing and Stitching is a weekly 90 minute program for kids working with sewing machines and needle and thread to create fun projects (each 5 week program approximately 2 projects completed with both machine and hand stitching). All materials included; limited to 6 students total per class. Thursdays options available 10 - 11:30am Homeschool - all ages with Miss Kim 1 - 2:30pm Homeschool - all ages with Miss Kim 3 - 4:30pm - ages 7+ (under 7 should have a parent helper) - with Miss Michele 5 - 6:30pm - ages 7+ (under 7 should have a parent helper) - with Miss Michele A beginning sewing kit with thread cutter/seam ripper and needles included on first day. Class will begin by learning what should be included in everyone's sewing basket; working on the sewing machine with all the steps to continue on their own. Additionally, everyone will learn basic hand stitches including the running, basting, whip, and blind hem stitches. Each 5 week program will build skills and know-how to work at home. Students may take each 5 week by itself or for the entire semester.
