Class Description

FALL Homeschool Art, Art & More Art (Art, Art +) with Lisa Long Thursdays | 1–2:30 pm September 3–December 17 No classes during MISD school holidays The $111 payment covers one month of classes. The studio will bill monthly for the remaining months of the semester. Families may choose to pay for the full semester and receive a 5% discount, or select monthly billing. Both options include a $14 per-person monthly homeschool discount. This fun and engaging 90-minute weekly class gives young artists the opportunity to explore a wide variety of creative mediums. Our curriculum includes studies of modern masters such as Matisse, Monet, Picasso, Klee, Van Gogh, Kahlo, and O’Keeffe, along with sketching and drawing, acrylic painting, stitching and weaving, glass fusing, soap making, tie-dye, clay sculpture, jewelry making, recycled art, and more. Fine Print: The studio does not prorate tuition. Once enrolled, students are registered for the full semester and monthly billing will continue through the end of the term. If your schedule changes, the studio will work with you to find another available class day and time. If you choose to discontinue classes, the remaining semester balance will still be due. For missed classes, students will be offered a take-home art project. Designed for children ages 6+ or those entering first grade, unless otherwise noted. Children under age 6 should register for Simple Art.
