Class Description
Glass Fusing Glass Class Thursdays 5-7pm April 2-30 (no class April 23) Go deeper into the world of working with little and not so little glass bits as you create art works start to finish. Discover the magic of kiln-formed glass, craft your unique masterpieces and learn the possibilities of fused glass. Over 4 weeks, students will learn to cut, fuse and design. This class is ideal for beginners and new glass fusers who want to improve their technique and understanding of fused glass. Please wear closed toed shoes. All tools and glass provided and this workshop is recommended for adults and mature teens (mature teens may take this class with a parent or guardian in attendance, only). Space is limited. Fine Details: Glass Fusing is creating fused glass art with melting glass through heating in a special glass kiln. The process of snipping, cutting, sanding and applying colored glass to create plant stakes is addicting. Students work under the guidance of the wonderful Deanna Smith.
