Class Description
Art Lab 101 with Lisa Long Dates: Friday October 10, November 7 and 21, December 12 6-8:30pm A single class but consider joining multiple sessions to keep creating! Lisa Long will show you how to prime the background by adding paint, oil pastels; creating multiple layers of collage with decoupage technique; and finally adding in images, photographs and more to create a focus. Students work on their choice of wooden substrate, canvas, art journal or vintage book. Processes include decoupage, layering, assemblage and adding baubles and adornments we call embellishments. No need to bring anything but an open heart (and if you have some special photographs or papers you'd like to include, bring it along - we can copy photos and leave you the originals). All materials included. Adults and mature teens (15 and up).
Cancellation Policy
No refunds on classes, semesters, camps, workshops, events or kits. If you cannot attend an event consider assigning your space to another individual. Withdrawal from a semester long class or multi-week course will result in the entire fee being charged to your payment method.
