Class Description

The Clay Classroom is beginning and beyond pottery wheel class with Wendy Lamar Ages teens and adults 7 weeks March 14 - May 2 (no class March 21 Spring Break) ***no make up sessions but Wendy will assist with a take home project the studio will fire*** -All Supplies included - clay, glazing and firing Jump Into Art Studios has created an all-inclusive 7 week ceramics program with a focus on throwing, trimming, hand building, and making handles along with instructional steps to work with underglazes and glazes (including working with over glazes and creating a personal color palette.) Students average 7-10 completed items in this program. All levels welcome, no experience necessary. Classes are limited to 10 students. Includes all tools and first bag of clay, just bring a personal lap towel to leave on your personal shelf on first day. ​The Clay Classroom has several demographics listed (Teens/Adult means ages 13- adults, Kids means kids ages 8 to 18, all ages is minimum age of 8 - mixed group). For a longer ceramics program, consider our ongoing weekly classes (mature teens and adults, only).
