Adult Sewing and Stitching with Sarah Hill 5 Weeks on Fridays 6-7:30pm September 25 - October 30 (no class October 23) Can’t remember what you learned in home economics in high school? Does the sewing machine gathering dust in your closet intimidate you? Discover the basics of sewing and stitching in this adult-only studio class led by Sarah Hill. Enrollment is limited to six students, allowing for plenty of individual guidance. Participants will learn a variety of hand stitches and machine sewing basics that can be used for both practical and/or decorative purposes. This class is great for those who have little-to-no experience but want to get started, or relearn what they were taught ages ago. Our adult classes are a fun way to delve into, or back into, the world of sewing and build community in a fun environment. Each five-session program can be enjoyed on its own or taken consecutively. Projects and techniques vary between sessions, giving returning students plenty of new skills and creative challenges to explore. All materials included, even an easy-to-use sewing machine! ***Classes take place on the second floor. While there is no elevator, teacher assistance is available for anyone who has difficulty climbing the stairs.***
