Whether you're new to watercolors or looking to deepen your skills, this class invites you to slow down, explore techniques, and create from a place of play. In this class, you’ll learn: -A clear, beginner-friendly introduction to watercolor supplies — what to use and why -Fundamental watercolor techniques: Flat wash, Graded wash, Variegated wash, Layering, Wet-on-wet, Wet-on-dry -Essential expressive techniques: Negative painting, Glazing, Dry brush, and creating playful textures -Introduction to One-Point Perspective and Atmospheric Perspective -Intro to color theory and Values -How to partner with water instead of trying to control it -Guided projects using these techniques to help you explore freely -How to cultivate a playful, relaxed mindset and let go of perfectionism This class is about more than just painting — it’s about reconnecting with yourself through creativity.
