Class Description

Watercolor: 6 Week Class with Beth Matlock A 90 minute weekly class for adults new to watercolor. Classes begin Saturday, Apr 16 at 10 or 10:30 based on beginning (start at 10am) or continuing (start at 10:30am) Join this wonderful 6 week program for watercolor enthusiasts with some amazing techniques and styles to try out and make your own. Artist Journal provided, students bring personal watercolors but studio has a basic set for use. Learn the basics or watercolor plus other processes - prefect for beginning student and the ongoing student. Some processes include: wet on dry, wet on wet, negative, layering, wash, etc. *There are syllabuses for each session with new techniques to learn. If you are new, start with Syllabus I. If you have been a previous watercolor student at this studio or another, please send an email and Beth will be happy to help you regarding a class suggestion. Beth Matlock is a warm-hearted educator with a flair for supporting all levels in this wonderful 6 week program. Adults or mature teens (ages 16 and older NOTE: watercolor classes are held in the upstairs Madison Room.
