Happy Sunday and hope you're having a wonderful holiday weekend celebrating 250 years of America! Yesterday was an epic parade on the downtown square with marching bands, civic leaders, firemen, soccer teams, baseball teams, retired veterans, Tupps Brewery, the Mounted Police and even the Boy Scouts rode by (and did you know the original owners of our art house, Thomas Craig and his wife Kathryn Heard Craig, brought the Boys Scouts to McKinney?)

What a great town and what a great place to call home!

By popular demand - teens enjoy creating art with their friends or make some new friends! Students will be guided by Kimberly Bezenek in composing their art. All materials provided at the studio! Just show up ready for fun!

All the favorite projects including tiny art, watercolor, soap and mist making, potions, tie dye, clay and a few other fabulous projects . Limited space.

Tiny Tots Camp

July 6 -30 Ages 4-6

Bring your littles twice a week from 4:15-5:30 for a camp just for them! Painting, Tie Dye, Clay, Art and unlimited hands on fun with Miss Scout.

Summer Sewing for Kids Tuesdays July 14- August 18 with Miss Sarah

Kids ages 7 - 18 will just love this fun program with lots of projects to learn on a personal and simple machine. Both machine sewing and hand stitching included.

Leathercrafting 101 with LuAnne

July 18 am session - Journals and pm session is 2 4" trays

Work with leather smith and artist, LuAnne Malnory - she’ll take you into the world of working with leather as you learn techniques like cutting, molding, carving, stamping, and stitching. No experience needed, adult only (mature teen may attend with parent attending, too).

Pottery Wheel and Clay Camp

July 22-24

Ages 8 - adult

This mini camp in just the perfect amount of time to step into the world of ceramics and play on a potter's wheel, create sculptures and have a ball!

INAUGURAL Art Retreat

Kids Art and Movie Night

Drop your precious cargo off with us and have them entertained by our professional childhood educator, Miss Ashley. Perfect for children as young as 5 up to 13. Your child will play games, eat pizza, create art and watch a movie - not in that order!

Please stop in and make art with us each Saturday - no appointment needed but sometimes we fill up - reservations at 9am, 10am or 11am. Arts, crafts, supplies and more.

Raku and Alternative Firing

Saturday or Sunday September 26 & 27

No experience needed but adults only. Learn the steps and create beautiful art with a fast firing call Raku. Each day will have 3-4 processes including fuming with Copper (pictured above), fuming with ferrick chloride and stannous chloride, saggar, naked, crackle reduction and more with Dee Dee Mangum.
